About CURE

Who We Are

CURE Ministries is a non-profit, non denominational organization that is dedicated to helping meet the physical and spiritual needs of underprivileged people.

We Believe that:

  • Each individual is valuable and unique. They are worthwhile not because of their income or possessions, but because they were created by a God who loves them.
  • Homelessness is a tragedy, and we want to help eliminate it.
  • Hunger is curable, and we will not ignore it. As Matthew 25:35 says, “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in …”

What We Do

Monday and Thursday Night Meal
CURE Ministries provides one meal a week for underprivileged people in our community. We currently operate form two distinct sites, one in St. Paul on Mondays and one in Minneapolis on Thursdays. With the pressing economy and constant inflation, more and more people are finding themselves in desperate positions. CURE is here to lend a hand by offering friendship and hope, while meeting the practical needs of our neighbors.

Food Shelf
We supply a food shelf and serve a meal on Monday and Thursday nights. One grocery bag of food is available for each family in need.

Life Skills Center
The CURE Life Skills Center gives free, personalized support by connecting people with a same-sex mentor by appointment. This mentor can offer hope, direction and prayer; but also acts as an advocate to link people with other community resources like rent assistance, new baby supplies and more. A session schedule is developed based on your needs and goal progress. To request an intake form or make an appointment, please call 651-646-1858 and leave a voice message.
