There are many ways you can help with our Ministry Needs:
Volunteering to help prepare a meal.
We rely on people like you to make our Monday night meals happen. Sign up as an individual or as a group—no long-term commitment is necessary. Even just one well-balanced meal is a blessing to a family in need. Come with your small group as an outreach opportunity, volunteer as a family, make it a date with your spouse or freinds, or come get to know our regular volunteers. We promise that you will be blessed as you are a blessing to others. We will provide all the food for the meal at our site. We will also provide you with a menu to follow. Your group of 2 to 6 people would need to come in for the afternoon and prepare the meal which will be served at 5:30. Call or e-mail and we can provide further information.
Help serve a meal by supporting it financially.
You may not be available to physically serve food on Monday evenings, but you can still be a part of feeding the hungry in our community. Each meal costs about $2 per person, so as our ministry grows, we are in need of financial partners who care about filling empty stomachs. Typically we serve around one hundred fifty to two hundred people on a Monday night. We can’t wait to serve with you!
Come and serve with us on a Monday night.
We love to have groups and individuals come and serve with us on Monday nights. There are a variety of things you can do to help with the evening. Be at our site by 5:00 and we will plug you into one of those opportunities. Call or e-mail us and we can provide further information
Collect food donations in your neighborhood or at your company.
Without you, our cupboards are bare. If you are willing to help collect donations for our food shelf, we’ll give you the tools to make it happen. Get grocery bags and donation letters from us. Distribute them in your workplace or neighborhood. Pick the bags up on the day you designate, and then we will get them into the hands of families who are truly in need.
Make a tax deductible donation to our ministry.
We are always in need of your help to keep this ministry going. We would be so thankful if you could make a one time or monthly donation to our ministry. All donations are tax deductible. Our ministry is currently growing. We have had record turnouts for our meals and to our food shelf. Unfortunately with the economy the way it is, our donations have not kept up with this growing demand. Our mailing address is: CURE Ministries, 1173 Payne Avenue in East St. Paul, MN 55130. You can also donate to us directly online using the following secure link:
Donate your used vehicle.
If you have a car you would like to donate, we will connect it with an individual in need of transportation (and you will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes).
Keep CURE Ministries in your prayers.
We always want to be serving in line with Christ’s direction, so we covet your prayers. This is the last thing on our list, but it most certainly is not the least. We need your prayers!
